Short Bio

Dr. Panos P. Katsakioris is a graduate of the Medical School of the University of Athens.

His involvement with Homeopathy dates back a number of decades when he was still a student at the University. After graduation he studied Homeopathy in Greece and he attended many schools of Homeopathy in Athens where he took his first professional steps.

After the compulsory service as a rural doctor in the village of Plomario on Lesvos, he travelled to the United Kingdom gaining clinical experience at the Royal Homeopathic Hospital in London and received a further degree from the British Institute of Homeopathy. He then went to India to study further under the supervision of the internationally renowned homeopathic doctor Dr. Diwan Harish Chand. Thereafter, he studied and practiced Homeopathy for many years at the International Academy of Classical Homeopathy with the world-renowned professor George Vythoulkas (Alternative Nobel Prize 1996).

He later added Acupuncture and Phytotherapy (Herbal Medicine) to his treatment portfolio.

He first started studying Acupuncture in Athens and continued his education at the Open International University for Complementary Medicine in Colombo in Shri Lanka under Professor Dr. Sir Anton Jayasuriya.

Phytotherapy, he attended a series of seminars in Athens and collaborated, as he still works closely, with the leading Pharmacist Sandzuk Samir.

He worked for many years in Athens and from 2002 he settled in Agrinio, organizing the Center for Physical Medicine of Western Greece, where he is the scientific director.

He is an active member of many medical organizations and companies in Homeopathy, Acupuncture and Phytotherapy, in Greece and abroad.
